True community appears on Goddess Dorthea’s “Divine Goddess Awakening – The Musical Podcast Experience”. A great deal of stylistic diversity comes on through in this relatively compact collection. Elements of jazz, classical, folk music, the blues, and more filter into it making sure there is a unique framework within it. With a hallowed reverence about it, the songs have a friendly, welcoming presence to them, full of positivity. Lyrics highlight this sense of moving forward, of embracing life to the fullest.

A lilting decay of piano chords opens “Intro – Welcome Divine Goddess” on a note of pure hushed awe, as even when the beats hit, they maintain that childlike sense of wonder. Pure celebration takes shape on the collection’s highlight, the light jazz bossa nova quality of “YONI”. With its bit of tropical aura, there is a blissed-out atmosphere to it. The spiritual presence of “A Prayer in the Flesh Skit ft. Goddess Elvia” adds to the thoughtful tenor of the collection. Grooves have a trance-like element to “Divine Feminine ft Goddess Janae” as the song’s bubbly attitude has its own sense of fun. Glitch effects and the low-slung rhythm gives “GOD is Unconditional Love Skit ft. Goddess Dayla Muse” feels so chilled-out. By far the heaviest and most intense track on the collection is the razor-sharp finale “Goddess Awakens”.
